1) What is mobile access?
In order to log onto the e-Boks app, it is required that you use mobile access or biometric login. However, in order to activate biometric login, you must first log in using mobile access.
One of the advantages of using the e-Boks app is that you may now log on solely by using your mobile password or biometric login (e.g., finger touch or face recognition). This way you may access the post in your e-Boks faster than by having to use your MitID every time.
2) How to activate mobile access
You may activate your mobile access by using the following instructions.
- Open our website www.eboks.dk in a browser and log in.
- Press 'Menu' at the top of the screen and select 'Mobile access'.
- Now press 'Activate'.
- Type in your desired password and press 'OK'.
You will now have activated your mobile access, and you can now log onto the e-Boks app.
Please notice! In 'Mobile access' you will now see an activation code. You must use this code the first time you log onto your e-Boks on a new mobile unit.
3) The security of mobile access
The activation code which you will now receive in your mobile access must be used to connect the specific mobile access to particular mobile units. The activation code is thereby assistant of elevating the security level above common PIN codes reliant on usernames and passwords.
The mobile access code and activation code must be processed as confidential information, and we therefore advise that you store the mobile access code, the activation code and your CPR number on the mobile unit that you use to log onto the e-Boks app.
Should you be suspicious whether or not the mobile access code or activation code has been obtained by others, or if you should lose your mobile unit, you must change the codes for your e-Boks.
