You can upload (i.e., save) your own important documents in e-Boks such as your birth certificate, education certificates, receipts or property deeds. You are allotted 1 GB of space.

The authenticity of these documents will be the equivalent of a photocopy. Most establishments will accept a photocopy, but this must not exclude the possibility of some places requiring a more specific display of the original documents (i.e. a deed in connections with registration).

1. Log onto the e-Boks app.

2. Click on the tab ‘Mail’ at the bottom of the screen.
3. Select the folder icon at the top right corner.
4. In ‘Mail from companies’ you must select ‘Upload’.
5. Now you’ll be able to choose between ‘Take a photo’ and ‘Choose a file’ depending on whether you want to capture a new photo or upload an existing picture or document from your phone.
6. When you have taken or chosen the picture or document, you can choose the file name as well as which folder the file will be placed within. Please note! The document will automatically be placed in your inbox if you do not actively choose another folder. Hereafter, you will always be able to move your documents to another folder.
7. Now click on the button ‘Save’.
Your documents will now be uploaded onto your e-Boks. You will be able to view them both on the app as well on our website.
