1. Useful rules of thumb
- Our emails never contain direct links to documents or login pages.
- We only ask you to confirm your email address by email (and your phone number by SMS) for notifications about new mail.
- We never ask to provide us with information on emails or text messages that you need to confirm to use e-Boks (email notifications are a service and not a requirement to use e-Boks).
- We never ask you to provide your name, your residential address, your bank account, your MitID, or other personal information about you.
Phishing emails will often try to lure you into clicking a link to give up your MitID or other information. It is important to emphasize that e-Boks will never ask for your MitID details or other personal information. We will also not ask you to confirm your identity.
If you receive an email or SMS that pretends to be from e-Boks and attempts to obtain your personal information, we recommend that you delete the email immediately!

Selvom beskederne nedenfor tyder på at være sendt fra fra os, så er det ikke en sms fra os. Det kan ses på at man bliver bedt om at logge ind på en anden hjemmeside end www.e-boks.dk.
