General information regarding deletion
The content in a user's digital inbox is viewed by e-Boks as the private property of the user. e-Boks does not delete the content from the inbox of the user or personal information related to the profile as long as the profile is active.
The user of e-Boks will always have direct access to delete the content in their digital inbox via an e-Boks mobile application and web solution. The user will always be able to unsubscribe and deactivate their e-Boks account via the e-Boks web solution.
When a user deletes a document, the document will become transferred to their digital inbox via the deleted Post folder, wherein it will be deleted after 30 days. The mechanism will protect and prevent the user from losing mail which may be deleted by mistake. The document can thereby be restored as long as it exists in the Deleted mail folder.
It is often the case that deletion is irreversible. When a letter or a document is deleted from the Deleted post folder, it cannot be restored.
