General information on purposes and categories of personal data
The basic information is used to authenticate a user's / recipient's identity and includes:
- Name
- CPR number
Log-in information is used to verify a user's right to access the e-Boks and includes:
- MitID login
Contact information is used 1) to notify the user of selected actions in the user's digital mailbox and 2) as profile and contact information in e-Boks' user support when the user creates a case. This information includes:
- Phone number
Documents are processed on behalf of the user and according to the user's instructions cf. e-Boks' Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. The user has direct access to insight and deletion of all content in the user's digital mailbox at e-Boks.
- e-Boks does not have the ability to determine or know the content of documents, but as a starting point these can contain all types of information in free text.
Metadata is used for organizing and sorting the content in the user's digital mailbox and includes:
- Information about the user's documents, such as when the user has received and opened a document, how much storage space a document takes up and which folder the document is archived in, etc.
Log documents the integrity of the e-Boks solution, including technical and manual actions such as:
- log-on, reception, archiving, deletion, etc.
Photo identification is processed in accordance with cases where it is necessary for e-Boks to authenticate/confirm a user's identity, e.g. according to a citizen who wishes to exercise his rights as registered.
- Copy of passport, driving license etc.
Legal documentation is necessary in order for e-Boks to process cases regarding the allocation of access, e.g. in connection with death and bankruptcy.
- Personal information contained in probate certificates, powers of attorney, etc.
Pseudonymous User ID: e-Boks processes a number of pseudonymous user IDs from e.g. creditors to ensure that a payment is collected and paid with and by the correct parties.
- Customer number, debtor group number, etc. which is used in connection with payment
Technical information (cookies) is processed to provide the solution functionally and efficiently and includes:
- Information about your device, browser, operating system, IP address, etc.
