Digital Post and e-Boks are based on the same technology, and if your company has registered for both Digital Post and e-Boks, you can get all your mail from both public authorities and private companies in one place. The difference between Digital Post and e-Boks is mainly that you have to accept the conditions of Digital Post and e-Boks separately.
Digital post and e-Boks are not the same thing. In e-Boks, your company can receive mail from private companies, such as banks or suppliers. With Digital Post, your company can receive mail from all public authorities, such as municipal authorities. You can write and reply to mail from public authorities.
All public authorities currently use Digital Post. From 1 November 2013, it will be compulsory for companies to have a digital mailbox.
