Tuesday, June 6th, MitID updated the way in which you log in via NemLog-In.
Whenever you use the MitID app, you must either scan a QR-code or press the button to automatically enter the app using your MitID.
When you use your telephone - while simultaneously using your MitID app
If you are using your telephone to access the web, you will automatically be transferred to the MitID app by pressing a single button. Hereafter you may swipe and confirm.
When you are using your computer, tablet or other mobile unit
If you are using your computer, tablet or other mobile unit and must verify with your MitID app, there will be a QR code appearing on the screen. You must scan the QR code, before you may swipe and verify.
If you cannot scan the QR codes
If you cannot scan the QR codes, for example if you have a handicap with your sight or hearing, or if your camera on your telephone is broken, there is an alternative way in the form of typing in your one-time access code. Herein you must type in a one-type access code in your MitID app before you can swipe and confirm. As it stands, the MitID is set up to scan QR codes. You must therefore enter and change your settings in the MitID app if you wish to change the one-time access codes. It will take an hour from your request until the change takes effect. This is due to changes in the personal settings that will take an hour to enact out of security concerns.
